VeneTo Stars challenge presentede at UNESCO Headquarters

On April 30th took place the presentation of the “Veneto stars Challenge” project at UNESCO’s headquarters. The Veneto Region launched a bid in order to invite young European innovators to identify new ways of protecting cultural heritage through the use of space data. Lazare Eloundou Assomo, Director of the World Heritage Centre, as well as renowned experts from the European Space Agency spoke alongside Ambassadors Liborio Stellino, Permanent Representative of Italy to UNESCO and Luca Sabbatucci, Permanent Representative of Italy to International Organizations and Luca Zaia, Head of the Veneto Region, contributing to the event with valuable insight on heritage protection and on the contribution that research can bring to it.
