The Permanent Delegation of Italy to UNESCO joins in the celebrations of the Italian National Day promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and wishes everyone a Happy Italian National Day.

Nature, Art, Science, Culture and Creativity are the heritage that Italy shares with future generations. As part of the celebrations of the 2nd June 2021, a video has been realized to celebrate the Italian leading sectors from which, after a difficult year, our country starts again, renews itself in the name of digitalisation, sustainability, innovation, competitiveness and inclusion: Ripartiamo dal futuro.

We are also pleased to share the Italian National Anthem, performed for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) by the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini conducted by Maestro Riccardo Muti. For the occasion, the orchestra is accompanied by the Choir of the Municipal Theatre of Piacenza, the city where the recording was made.
