Exhibition on « Traditional violin craftsmanship in Cremona »

Next May 6 and 7, UNESCO’s Miro Rooms will host an exhibition dedicated to the “Traditional violin craftsmanship in Cremona”, which was inscribed in 2012 in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The exhibition is composed of videos and posters illustrating a luthier’s creation work as well as conservation activities on historical violins. Furthermore, a delegation of luthiers from Cremona will be on site with a selection of instruments in order to answer visitors’ questions.
