The seventh edition of the traditional springtime concert by the International Music Academy of Cagliari will take place on May 15 in Room I. Italian actress Caterina Murino will present the evening, whose programme will range from traditional Sardinian tunes to Bach, Chopin, Verdi, Boccherini, Piazzolla, Albeniz. As of 10 a.m. a photo exhibition will be open to the public in UNESCO’s Foyer on “The Art of Launeddas and the history of Sardinian Nuraghe”. A delegation of artisans will be present all day in order to demonstrate how the Launeddas, a traditional music instrument, are build.
