Best Wishes to UNESCO’s New Top Management Members !

In the presence of UNESCO’s Director-General Audrey Azoulay, a welcome reception was held yesterday evening for the Organization’s new Deputy Director-General Xing Qu (China) and the new Assistant Director-General (ADG) for Culture, Ernesto Renato Ottone Ramirez (Chile), for Education, Stefania Giannini (Italy), and Communication and Information, Moez Chakchouk (Tunisia).

Organized by the Permanent Delegations of China, Chile, Italy and Tunisia, the event represented an informal occasion of exchange between UNESCO’s new top management members and the representatives of the 195 Member States. Ambassador Vincenza Lomonaco and her homologues from China (Yang Shen), Chile (Alex Wetzig) and Tunisia (Ghazi Gherairi), addressed their best wishes to the new DDG and ADGs for the beginning of their mission.
