The Italian National Research Centre (CNR), Goppion Ltd. and the Civita Association organized a convention on “The art of the showcase. Technological innovation for museum conservation and communication” under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
The event took place in Rome in the presence of Italian Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini. “The science of showcases. An analysis of conservation hazards” by Marco Realini of the CNR was launched on this occasion. This handbook on artwork conservation by means of museum showcases is the fruit of the close collaboration between the CNR and Goppion Ltd.
