Italy elected to the Approval Commette of the Fund for the Elimination in Doping in Sports

During the 4th Conference of State Parties of the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport of 2005 which took place in Paris on September 25-26, Italy has been elected to the Fund’s Approval Committee for 2017-2019, together with the Russian Federation, Chile, China, Cameroun and Kuwait.

This result rewards our country’s active role in a sector which in the last few years has drawn a lot of attention from the international community, as well as our engagement to implement the 2005 Convention (one of UNESCO’s must successful legal tools, with 188 State Parties).
