In the presence, among others, of the Pakistani Ministers of Education and Communication, the Italian Ambassador in Islamabad, Stefano Pontecorvo, signed an agreement with UNESCO pour a two-year project called “Support to girls’ right to education and safeguarding cultural heritage through education in Pakistan”.
This project aims at supporting the Pakistani Government in its efforts to foster a wider access of young women to quality education and the protection of cultural heritage by means of awareness-raising activities for Pakistani communities and youth.
