The Italian region of Lombardy is about to establish a Forum for Research and Innovation, a consulting independent body for regional governing bodies.
The latter will be composed of 10 among the most prominent international experts in the fields of scientific and technical innovation for society and economy with the aim of providing food for thought on sustainability issues and science-fostered changes on a global level.
The Forum will be composed of researchers yet citizen-oriented, in order to contribute to public policies in the fields of research and innovation.
Its 10 experts will be chosen by means of an international selection call . Applications are open from September 1 to 20, 2017.
