The City of Fermo enters UNESCO’s Global Network of Learning Cities, which was created by the Organization in 2013 to promote lifelong learning.
The nomination by UNESCO’s Lifelong Institute was motivated by the richness of the city’s cultural and educational offer, to which contribute schools and cultural institutions, civil society and local enterprises.
Fermo is Italy’s second city, after Turin, to enter this prestigious international network.
