UNESCO 37th General Conference started today in prestigious Room I with the Organization’s choir performing the “Va pensiero” opera air as a tribute to the bicentenary of Giuseppe Verdi’s birth.
On this occasion, the numerous Italian choristers were joined by UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General for Culture, Mr Francesco Bandarin.
