{"id":535,"date":"2018-04-05T10:26:37","date_gmt":"2018-04-05T08:26:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/delegazioneunesco.esteri.it\/news\/dalla_rappresentanza\/2018\/04\/patrimonio-culturale-immateriale-2\/"},"modified":"2018-04-05T10:26:37","modified_gmt":"2018-04-05T08:26:37","slug":"patrimonio-culturale-immateriale-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/delegazioneunesco.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dalla_rappresentanza\/2018\/04\/patrimonio-culturale-immateriale-2\/","title":{"rendered":"UNESCO\u2019s Intangible Cultural Heritage \u2013 presentation of Italy\u2019s candidacies for 2018-2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These are Italy\u2019s candidatures to the <a href=\"https:\/\/ich.unesco.org\/en\/lists\">Representative List<\/a> of the Intangible Cultural Heritage:<strong> <\/strong>\u00a0the \u201cPerdonanza Celestiniana\u201d, a ritual tradition from the province of l\u2019Aquila which dates back to the 14th century\u00a0; \u201cTranshumance\u201d, a pastoral tradition shared by numerous countries of the Alps and the Mediterranean (Italy initiated the candidature, together with Austria and Greece)\u00a0and \u201cAlpinism\u201d, the art of climbing mountains thanks to one\u2019s athletic, technical and intellectual skills (a transnational candidature initiated by France and shared with Italy and Switzerland).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three candidatures are the fruit of the engagement of the Italian Ministries of Cultural Heritage and Land Policies.
